Engineering Minds is seeking guest presenters working in Science, Technology and Engineering to present to STEM classes to 5 to 9 year olds.

“Science is not a boys' game, it’s not a girls' game. It’s everyone's game. It’s about where we are and where we’re going. Space travel benefits us here on Earth. And we ain’t stopped yet. There is more exploration to come”
- Nichelle Nichols, former NASA Ambassador and cast member of the original Star Trek.
“When I was in school, I was certain that being an astronaut was my goal. It was a very important time – Sally Ride was making her first flight into space and she had a real impact on me. Those firsts kind of stick in your head and really become inspirations for you.”
- Karen Nyberg, Astronaut
Could this be you?
- Do you work in a speclalised area of technology, science or engineering?
- Can you offer a fun and informative presentation to a small group of 5 to 9 year olds?
- Would you be prepared to volunteer your time for an after-school class?
We need your help
To inspire children and help them discover the fascinating world of STEM careers, we invite scientists, engineers, experienced programmers, technical writers, information architects to an ENGINEERING MINDS workshop. Each term we bring children, families and scientists together for two hours of fascinating testimonials, interactive presentations and exciting experiments that will stay in children’s memory forever, creating a lasting impact on their lives and enabling parents to understand how they can support children’s passion for STEM subjects.
